Chalk streams differenciate quite a lot from other waterstreams. The constant water level and temperature,
the high content of mineral salts, turn them into very peculiar ecosystems.
Kreideflüsse unterscheiden sich von
anderen Flüssen. Der konstante Gewässerstand, die konstante Temperatur und die hohe Konzentration von
Mineralien verwandelten sie in einzigartige Ökosysteme.
I chalk stream sono corsi d´acqua che si differenziano
sostanzialmente dagli altri. Il livello a la temperatura costante dell´acqua, l´alto contenuto di sali minerali,
ne fanno degli ecosistemi unici.

The water that gushes out at the sources is crystal clear, usually with temperature of around 10° Celsius.
The falling rains accumulate in the underground karst basins and flow through the chalk stone. The water
is subject to filtering and at the same time receives minerals that dilutes from the rocks.
Das Wasser entspringt einer Karstquelle und ist kristallklar. Die Temperatur liegt durchschnittlich
bei 10 Grad Celsius. Der Regen sammelt sich im unterirdischen Karstbecken und fließt durch die Karststeine.
Das Wasser wird durch die Karststeine gefiltert und somit durch die Reibung mit Mineralien angereichert.
L´acqua che sgorga dalla sorgente è limpidissimae con temperatura in genere di circa 10 gradi.
Viene orgininata dalle piogge che si accumulanano nei bacini carsici, per poi scorrere sottoterra
e venire filtrata dalla roccia calcarea, che cede parte
delle sue componenti minerali.

largamente presente, offre generalmente durante la fine Maggio fino a Giugno inoltrato, schiuse impressionanti,
che fanno la gioia o i dolori per quei pescatori che hanno la fortuna di imbattervisi.
