The Aubach benthos report

The Aubach is a creek between two German regions, Bavaria and Hessen. It runs through a green valley and it showed a good quality of the water. Even if quite small, the depth of some pools may suggest that it is capable of hosting fish.

I found good quantity of Benthos here. Additional to the many plecoptera, tricoptera and mayflies, also limonidae, simulidae, cased caddis were noted (the latter not photographed).
