BIOTIC INDEX CALCULATOR

A Biotic Index is a method of evaluating the quantitative presence of taxa in aquatic ecosystems to estimate water quality.
The collected samples (families, genera, species) are assigned values according to a pre-defined tolerance table.
The resulting value is ranked for the degree of pollution.
