I made this sample relatively close to the source. Here the Erlenbach is a very tiny and shallow brook. This part was characterized by the exclusive presence of several mayfly species despite the very shallow water.

Potamal strecth. During my visit the water level was extremely low and the air temperature about 30 degrees, thus it was a real surprise to find this diversity, as well considering that the stream runs through an anthropized landscape.

Lot of insects found. Perhaps it is due to the right season, but the insect/water quality at this relatively low height is impressive
